Do You Think This Is Just A Coincidence?

When I decided to change my job and start sending out resumes, I “asked” that in a day I will get two interview calls from non-profit organizations. Guess what? Last Monday, I really received two interview invitations, one from email and another from phone call and both of them were from non-profit organizations.

Among the 2 interviews, I actually prefer one of the jobs as a Data Manager. So, I imagined myself working in that organization. Few hours after the interview, they called me back and wanted me to go in for 2nd interview on the next day. Few days later, I got the job offer!

I told one of my friends how amazing “The Secret” is, but she doesn’t believe it and said it was just a coincidence. My dear friends who are reading this blog, what do you think?

Now, come to my H1B application. For those who knew how the US H1B working visa is processed, the application for private organization has to send in by April 1 and wait for the result. Like others, I sent in mine too. But since I got a new job offer, I have to resubmit my application and canceled the previous application. This means that I have to pay another $3000 (USD) again because my lawyer told me I couldn’t cancel the application that I have sent in and I can't get the money back. So, I made another wish. I sent out the “message” that my new visa application will be free.

Well, this morning my lawyer called me and gave me good news! She said I can cancel the cheque and so when the USCIS alert me regarding the payment, I just need to send them a letter and ask them to withdraw my case. By doing so, I will be able to get back at least $2500 and that will cover my new visa application fees.

See, another “coincidence” happened to me again.
