13 Things You Can Do Right Now To Get What You Want

I would like to share with you the following interesting processes, which I received from Kendra (Lessons in Law of Attraction).

1) Want. You must want what you want more than not wanting what you don't want. Give yourself permission to want and desire. Let yourself HAVE what you want and desire.

2) Decide. If you don't decide, nothing else can happen. You must feel the resolve of your decision 100%.

3) See. Use your imagination to see your vision. What is happening? Who is there? What is going on? Play the scenario's in your head.

4) Feel. Harness this most missed step in manifesting. Let the feelings of what you want and desire surface. Feel them now.

5) Think. Your thoughts create vibrations that the Universe matches, which creates what you know as your reality. Make sure you are consciously choosing thought that align you with what you want and desire.

6) Clear. Limited thoughts, mistaken beliefs, old baggage...must be cleared!

7) Act. Take action. But don't just move. Take inspired, clear action that you know is part of the momentum of your creation.

8) Know. Feel confident and convicted. Be certain that what you want and desire will be yours.

9) Trust. Infuse your consciousness and being with trust. Do you trust life? Do you trust yourself? Find a way to elevate your trust to a higher plane.

10) Allow. Learn how to open, receive and allow. Get out of the way.

11) Connect. Connect with whatever you know as a higher power, source or purpose. When you align with the greater rhythm of life, you are letting Universal laws work WITH you.

12) Raise. Engage in activity that raises your vibrations. High vibrations are a must for being a magnet for what you want and desire.

13) Thank. Give thanks! Gratitude is one of the most potent tools for using the Law of Attraction on purpose. Give thanks for what is. Feel gratitude for what will be.

What Do You Really Want?”

I gave my winning speech on Law of Attraction fetching me 3rd prize in Toastmasters Cyberjaya area contest. As you know, I had been through things and things over the past 2 months. But I have had some amazing friends who stood by me. Then I realized that instead of wallowing in self pity, let's give back to people. The first step for that is to begin by building one self. Charity begins at home right! So this is my way of re-establishing myself.

I chose the topic of “What do you really want?

First question is, do u really want to be sad, upset, angry or confused? No! No! No!

We all want to be happy and contended. So the actions should lead to those emotions. How do we do this?

People like Abraham Lincoln never gave up planning to develop himself. He had 12 astounding failures. Nervous breakdown , first sweetheart died, lost a lot of elections for government posts BUT he made it.

He is the greatest US president of all times. How do we do this?

Lets keep it simple with the 3 steps of LOA:

Step #1 : Ask WHAT do you really want? Really, really want. Not what u wish for. Not what u crave for. What is your burning desire? Identify that first. Believe me, sometimes what you wish for is not what you really want. Do you want prove? Look at people unhappy in relationships, jobs and other areas. And then look at other people who are so happy at what they do.

Step # 2 : Focus . Focus , focus. Concentrate on the task at hand. Not on what you don’t want. For example, you want to do well at a business presentation. Suddenly, you have a headache, you start worrying that people will not appreciate your presentation or you will get a stage fright. What would someone do? Buckle under pressure right? But what if you think of the end result only. Of the feeling of delivering a successful business presentation to accolades?

Isn’t that what a person would want?

Step # 3 : Belief. Remember Rocky? Stallone? A nobody who became a super star in Hollywood. He wrote the script for “Rocky” and got kicked out by all the major movie studios. He never gave up. Again and again he came back trying to sell his script. Failure after failure after failure. The man never gave up.

Finally MGM was willing to finance the movie for $50,000 and wanted to put someone else to act. He refused. People thought he was crazy! He was dead broke, got divorced and sometimes didn’t have money to pay for heat and spent time in library to keep warm! And here is this person rejecting a $25,000 offer. They raised the offer to 75,000 $ but he still insisted that he was born for this role. Finally MGM bought the script, cast him and the movie went on to make 200 Million US dollars in 1976! It also won academy awards and recognition. It is recognized as one of the top 10 movies of all time! Listen to Anthony Robbins narration of the Rocky story (

Now, compared to his story, is our life full of challenges? Is it not possible to accomplish our dreams? Yes we can.

Belief .. is the only virtue that moves mountains.

We can control the way we think. It’s a choice we make everday. I have decided to make my choice everyday as above. What is yours?

Are We In Control or Out of Control?

The blog has been quiet for quite a while and both G King and I agreed to get more sharing posted up to benefit more readers. Therefore, I would like to share some of my personal experiences I have learned during my business trip in last two months.


It all started since the first trip to Bangkok on 23rd January 2009 for a customized system deployment at customer site. Subsequent trips (in fact,  up to 5 trips within a month, with half a month stay in Bangkok) were made to 'fix the problems' and trying to achieve a 'sign-off', as things didn't go very well and the objectives were not met. 

I have to admit that it was indeed very challenging for me to manage my emotion and direct my mind to stay focus. The process was almost like I was water-rafting over a rough stream. The negative thoughts kept pouring in while I was trying to concentrate at the task on hand, with minimal sleep of only 3-hour every night. The situation get worse when it took me 1 hour to fall asleep (too many thoughts cross my mind during that moments). I went into emotion breakdown.

The situation only improved after I forced myself really hard to take over the control on my mind. Two things that I did that have helped me: 

  • Calm my mind by ceasing the thoughts
  • Then redirect my mind to positive thoughts and emotions only
I have applied the knowledge I have learnt from the following books:
I have learnt from The Chan Handbook that 'When thoughts cease, confusion ends'. Thus, I first ceased my thoughts by using the technique of 'The Heart of the Rose' taught in the book by Robin Sharma. I just direct my mind to 'look at' the rose and clear all other distracting thoughts, at the same time also reduce the pace of my breathing. It takes really long time before I can fully get rid most of other thoughts since my mind was in 'critical stage' of mess. Once I achieve that, I found the calmness I desperately wanted and I felt asleep not long after that.

Once I regain control over my mind, I started to focus on "what I want" instead of "what I don't want" that have continuously happened one right after another. I have applied this strongly during the most recent trip. The result, as expected, are positive!

From this experience, I have learnt that we need to gain control over our mind, but not being controlled. It enlightened me that the Law of Attraction is all about mind control.  I would like to quote from As A Man Thinketh (I stronlgy encourage you download this free ebook) :

'Just as a gardener cultivates his plot, keeping it free from weeds, and growing the flowers and fruits which he requires so may a man tend the garden of his mind, weeding out all the wrong, useless and impure thoughts, and cultivating toward perfection the flowers and fruits of right, useful and pure thoughts.'
  
Besides, I have also learnt about A Complaint Free World by Will Bowen from a colleague of mine. I have watched all the videos posted in YouTube. Again, I encourage you to check this out yourself too! I strongly believe it's going to benefit you.

I hope my experience will serve useful to you. Hope this helps you to further understand the importance of our delibrate control over our mind/thoughts to create the better 'world' we wish for.
