Power of Positive Thoughts

When you allow negative feelings/thoughts into your mind, the energy field around your body will attract negative forces, and this will create a blockage in your brain and stop or delay the fruits of the task or duty.

I believe all of us have experience negative thoughts/feeling running into our mind sometimes. If you rethink the time when you had the negative feelings/thoughts, you can realize the power of the negative forces and the outcome.

Personally from my experience, once at work, while I was performing my duty as an engineer, I was working on a high priority problem and all of a sudden my Laptop crashes, this is it! Frustration and anger fill up my mental space and on the other hand my boss was bugging me to get the job done immediately, Because of anger I spoke rudely to my boss , and after I got the replacement laptop, I was still feeling frustrated and angry, and I continued to work on the problem, Normally it would take me 1 or 2 hours to resolve the problem But in this case, I took nearly 3 hours to resolve it excluding the time of the replacement laptop and time to get on the job again.

Anger and frustration created a block up in my mental space and my brain was not optimized.

I could have turn things around by remaining calm and not allow anger to take control of my brain. If I remain calm (positive thought/feeling) I would not diminish my image by speaking rudely to my boss and I would have solved the problem within the timeframe of 1 or 2 hours as how I would normally perform.

By just simply running positive thoughts/feelings when you are in a bad mood, you can turn things dramatically. For example, if you are angry, just think of a person you are close to and run the thought of fun times together you had previously. This makes your anger to reside and eventually you can attract calmness. There are many ways of attracting positive thoughts actually, eg. recite prayers, meditation, thinking of the fun times you had, or by just simply talking to your loved ones over the phone for few minutes.

Steps to shift from negative to positive thoughts/feeling:-

1) Remain Calm – Take few deep breath
2) Think of something positive – eg. recite prayers, meditation
3) Access the situation
4) Think of ways to resolve the issue with the best interest of everyone involved

I know that shifting from negative thoughts to positive is not easy for most of us. , but as for start practice it for daily small problems –practice makes perfect- Good luck
